Young people finding their voice. Five countries. One wave.
WAVE empowers youth across Europe to understand climate change, take action in their communities, and amplify their voices through podcasting and digital storytelling.
Discover the project"The young generation has the capacity and motivation to produce change — they just need the courage, skills and resources."
— WAVE Consortium · 2023WAVE is a 24-month Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in youth, bringing together five organisations from Romania, Turkey, Belgium, Lithuania and Portugal. We believe technology is not the enemy of ecology — it's one of its most powerful allies. By combining non-formal education, community activism and podcast production, WAVE creates a generation of young environmental advocates equipped with both knowledge and a platform.
In each partner community, youth workers guide 30 young people through monthly workshops on climate change and sustainability, before helping them produce podcasts that reach their wider communities. Every episode is a wave — small, but part of something much larger.
Monthly non-formal workshops on climate change, environmental sustainability and active citizenship. Youth workers trained as expert mentors; young people as curious explorers.
